Our mission is to assist the community with navigating how to nourish themselves with every bite. We are passionate about sourcing ingredients that will provide our minds and bodies with the support we need to thrive and prevent disease. We aim to make this journey approachable for everybody to feel better and live better.
Good food is good medicine. Our gut is where our microbiome lives and it is our second brain, thus it needs clean fuel to run efficiently. We aim to define what good food really means and prove how delicious it is to eat your way to health. It is way too easy to feel overwhelmed when trying to learn how to eat in a non-toxic, nutrient dense, non-inflammatory lifestyle.
What are inflammatory foods and how do they affect our bodies and minds? Ultra-processed, cheap and convenient foods are destroying not only our health, but our planet, our Mother Earth. From poor conventional farming practices to our quality of water, air and earth, every bite we take can aid in our health, but also the health of our world. The power is literally on our plates. Food is information, it plays a major role in how well our cells are functioning, which dictates how we feel, sleep, connect, make choices, our productivity, our attention, our mood, symptoms, diseases, etc.
We have a choice to make every time we put food into our mouths, ultimately is this food harmful? What farming practices were used in raising the animals? What oils and cooking fats were used in the process of creating this meal? Does it contain gluten or hidden sugars and additives? If the answers to those questions are unclear, I suggest re-evaulating our fuel choices. Whether we are aware of it or not, the quality of our food matters. If we eat food raised and grown in nutrient depleted environments, then ultimately that is what we can become.
